Print, editorial and exhibition design remain an important part of my design background. I develop books, catalogs, posters, exhibition panels and corporate designs with a clear concept, precise typography and a confident eye for production.
I develop print projects from content, context and objective: from structure and dramaturgy to format, material and the right visual direction.
Typography, layout, imagery and color work together so that content is easy to read, distinctive and high-quality.
Clean final artwork and print preparation are part of the design process for me, so that every project can be produced reliably.

For many years, Privatsachen has been one of the pioneers of ecological and ethically responsible fashion. For the Hamburg label, I designed the website, posters, roll-ups, postcards, lookbooks and other communication materials.

The exhibition “Migrant Work - Faces of a New Working Class” offers insight into the lives of migrant workers. Through six very different reportage and portrait series, it creates a vivid picture of their fates, motives and hopes. The exhibition was conceived as a traveling exhibition and has been shown in Dortmund, Hagen, Gelsenkirchen, Oberhausen, Essen, Unna, Duesseldorf, Solingen and Bielefeld, among other places.
A traveling exhibition needs to be flexible so it can be presented convincingly in different venues. The double-sided printed panels are connected by a movable plug-in system and can be arranged in different combinations and formations. The exhibition is complemented by an opening panel, an introductory panel and a video installation by Mauricio Bustamante.

For Kiel Week 2013, the City and Maritime Museum dedicated an exhibition to an enthusiastic sailor and honorary citizen of the city: Prince Heinrich of Prussia (1862-1929). For almost 40 years, the Hohenzollern prince, the younger brother of Wilhelm II, resided in Kiel Castle.
The Kiel City and Maritime Museum commissioned me to provide the graphic design for the project.
